This place is so consistently great my fav place to grab lunch or late dinner. Prices are amazing and almost from a bygone era. The 10$ burger with 2 sides, the 1/2 chicken 10!! brisket platter 13$ huge salads! This place has everything and the staff have been great every time 10/10 and one of the best values in all of broward! Tom Jenkins not even close in quality/service/pricing. Feel like I'm missing out if I'm not here once a week!

This little place stays packed. But the service is fairly quick. Nice ambiance. Overall very good food. The sandwich I had was sliced pork which I did not expect. But it was tasty. Their slaw and fries were very good.

I'm from North Alabama and I love the mom and pop shop restaurants there. Lil red's is the only place in the city I can find that little piece of home here. Being a true southerner, I can safely say the food is as close as you can get to good down home, southern cooking. Down to the pepper sauce ;). They have wonderful burgers, chicken tenders, etc. However my favorite thing is their breakfasts. Biscuits and gravy is my favorite. There staff is really sweet, and the portions are insane!!! Pricing is super affordable. I've of my favorite spots.

OMG, this place was awesome! I stumbled upon this place while trying to find my hotel. The bbq was delicious. I could drink the bbq sauce, which was homemade by the way. I came at the perfect time when they had an off menu dessert. Brownie A la mode, which came in a skillet, and was homemade. It was by far one of the best desserts I have had in a long time

I have driven by Li'l Red's for 30 years and never stopped in. My wife went for lunch with several friends and had a great meal so I went on yelp to check it out... what great reviews, tons of menu selections and interesting bbq. I went with my son and what a great place. We had the brisket sandwich with salad and Cajun chicken breast with corn and French fries. The Cajun chicken was extremely tasty, juicy, great flavor and generous portion. The fries were tasty, crisp and generous portion. The only comment was the brisket was very good however meat sliced thin and sandwich somewhat small. The salad was super crisp fresh cucumber, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce and sliced onions... I will definitely be back for the pork bbq...

Came here for breakfast but it's stops at 11 on weekdays and 12 on weekends. Stayed for lunch, and it was worth it. It looks smaller than it is but lots of tables for two and four so don't worry as long as the parking lot isn't totally packed to the brink. For food: I ordered the rib and chicken combo which comes with two sides of your choice and a slice of Texas toast cut diagonally. I went with collard greens and baked beans. Oh my lanta, not too salty on the sides and the chicken and ribs were cooked to tender and Smokey perfection. If baked beans tasted like this growing up, I would've tried them sooner! Coming from Seattle, we have limited bbq options so I knew I needed to find something decent while down here. I ordered an iced tea and it was huge! $3 and it's like 20 oz easily and portable so I got to take it with me. Lil Reds doesn't disappoint. There's a good amount of parking although I imagine on the weekends it probably gets tight and packed, their service was speedy and kind. My seatmate ordered the BLT with mayo and it was perfection. The kicker? It also came with two sides (fries and pepper corn bread muffin). That muffin did not look like much but it was so tender and moist! He ordered a beer and it was $5.50, wooof we really need to move out of Seattle with prices like this. We can't wait to come back before our trip is over to try some more bbq and sides as they have red beans and rice, green beans, dirty rice, black eyed peas, slaw, and a handful of others to go with your food.

Lil Reds isn't much of a looker, but dang it if they don't have delicious food. It isn't trying to be anything that it's not- just your local, simple, good eatins diner. We have only been for breakfast, but what they can do with an omelet is impressive. Very yummy- you leave feeling full and satisfied. Staff is very friendly and down to earth. This no-frills joint will have you feeling like you are a local.

Li'l Red's Cookin' is a great low-key spot for a quick and tasty home cooked meal. My wife and I were visiting Ft. Lauderdale and Li'l Red's was right around the corner from us. We arrived to Li'l Red's early. Around 8am. The place wasn't too busy but there were people around. It wasn't noisy but there was the low rumble of people talking, servers taking orders and the pinging and scraping of kitchen utensils whipping up food in the background. You seat yourself. Our server was around quickly and got us started on drinks, a water and coffee for me. My wife went with orange juice. The coffee was hot, strong and tasty. I recommend getting a cup. For breakfast my wife and I both went with the 2-2-2. This breakfast plate was only $5.99. Two eggs, cooked to your liking, served with two pancakes and either two strips of bacon or two sausage links. I ordered my eggs scrambled and the sausage links. My wife ordered the bacon and switched out her pancakes for French toast. The food didn't take long. Everything was hot and fresh. The eggs had cheese in them and were well seasoned. The pancakes were light and fluffy, decently sized. The sausage links were savory and slightly greasy but flavorful. I wished the syrup would have been a little better. It was just prepackaged, Smuckers maple syrup. My wife enjoyed her breakfast as well. The French toast was prepared well and sprinkled with powdered sugar. We ate a filling, tasty breakfast, quickly and for a reasonable price. It was just what we needed to start our day. If you're in the area, check out Li'l Red's Cookin'.
